Phoenix Club One: Championing a sustainable lifestyle
Anybody who loves Spider-Man will know what Peter’s uncle told him – ‘With great power comes great responsibility.’ As one among the country’s leading real-estate brands, we believe we have a responsibility towards our customers, our patrons, our communities, and our country. At Phoenix Mills Ltd., we don’t just build homes. To quote Arshia Ladak, Head of Marketing- Phoenix Residences, “We believe in building communities that are socially conscious and promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle”.
On December 4th, 2016, Phoenix celebrated the concept of a sustainable lifestyle with one of the country’s ancient disciplines, yoga, and also emphasized the importance of adopting an organic diet. Partnering in this noble cause was Proyog and Green Path – Forgotten Food. Proyog is the world’s very first yoga-wear apparel from India; a label that was established after nearly two years of vigorous research and planning to ensure that synthetic garments don’t hinder relaxing yoga sessions. Green Path – Forgotten Food is a young venture that’s dedicated to healthy and organic food, locally produced sans the use of refined and processed ingredients. The event was hosted at Phoenix Club One – the brand’s clubhouse spread over 50,000 sq.ft., flanked with contemporary aesthetics and a host of modern amenities.
The event was divided into morning and evening sessions that were attended by roughly 50 guests, including customers of Phoenix One Bangalore West and Phoenix Kessaku. The first session took place at 9:30 am. Upon arrival, guests were served fresh, organic juice. Proyog Yoga Ambassador Natasha Mahindra, an instructor and the founder of Anam Cara Yoga Retreats gave the opening talk, discussing the basic principles of leading an organic lifestyle. From thereon, things became a little more challenging and fun. Natasha indulged the guests in 90 minutes of blissful yoga. They were taken through a gentle warm-up routine, following which they experienced a rejuvenating yoga session.
After enjoying a sumptuous organic meal served by Green Path – Forgotten Food, some decided to take a tour of the vicinity, exploring the aesthetic and contemporary nuances. The evening session followed at 4:30 pm in the same order, following which dinner was served.
Sustainable living isn’t a one-time act; it’s a lifestyle that could give tomorrow’s generation a future. For our part, Phoenix continues to champion the cause of an organic diet and a healthy lifestyle, bringing a small, yet sure change!
